Gregory J. Winneke, CFA, CMM
President and Director

Greg is President, Director, and founder of Sunburst Energy Management, LLC. His 37 years of experience in energy investments includes Chief Executive Officer & Founder of CSW Corporation, providing acquisition and management of producing and non-producing oil and natural gas royalty and mineral properties. He has served on the Board of Advisors of the National Association of Royalty Owners (NARO), and served as speaker to energy organizations, including The Energy Council, natural gas sub-committee of the U.S. House of Representatives, and others. In addition to property management, Greg has been an energy analyst researching and selecting stocks for USAA mutual funds, and Assistant Director of Equities for the State of Wisconsin Investment Board. Greg has also been an advisor of underlying fundamentals to a crude oil trading desk at the Chicago Board of Trade, an arbitrage operation on energy company mergers and acquisitions, and a contributing author to The Oil & Gas Journal. Greg holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and the Certified Mineral Manager (CMM) designation. Greg holds an M.S. Degree in Finance from the University of Wisconsin, and a B.A. Degree from Morningside College with a minor in economics.


David A. Borosh
Director

David has an extensive 38 years experience in the financial industry. David began his career with Roulston & Co. in Cleveland in 1979 where he provided research ideas to banks, money managers and insurance companies, achieving the position of Partner at age 26. David then broadened his financial exposure by becoming VP of Sales at First Boston Corporation where he gained experience in derivatives, convertible securities, and international equities. In 1992, David accepted the position of Vice President at Morgan Stanley, was later promoted to Principal and then Managing Director. He then became Chicago Institutional Equities Office Manager and finally one of five worldwide Global Relationship Managers. David was also a member of the Equity Stock Selection Committee. David left in 2003 to establish a multi-cap fundamental hedge fund. In 2005 David returned to the institutional equity business, working at William Blair, LLC in Chicago. David retired from William Blair in early 2018.


Thomas A. Carter, CFA, CPA
Director

Tommy served as Chief Financial Officer, and was a Registered Principal for Sendero Wealth Management and a member of the Sendero Investment Committee. Working at USAA from 1986 to 2001, Tommy held a number of accounting positions at the USAA Investment Management Company and completed his tenure as an Equity Securities Analyst picking stocks for the USAA Mutual Funds. He joined Redstone Consulting — San Antonio in 2001 — helping the firm grow into an autonomous business unit and eventually transitioning that office into Sendero Wealth Management in 2008. Tommy has a BBA in Economics & Finance from Texas Tech University and an MBA in Accounting from St. Mary’s University. He is a licensed CPA and is a CFA Charter holder.


David L. Thomas
Director

David, a Kansas State University graduate, has a lengthy and impressive background in the oil and gas industry beginning with Cities Service Gas Company where he held several field and office positons including Division Pipeline Foreman and Assistant Manager Natural Gas Acquisitions (1963 -1975). He subsequently became Manager of Gas Acquisitions for Mustang Fuel Corporation, where additional responsibility included Vice President / General Manager of the Energy Technology Company including waste to fuel feasibility, EPA permitting, and administration (1975-1981). David then was then transferred to Mustang Production Co. as Vice President Land Operations to direct acquisition and management of leases for the oil and gas exploration program (1981-1983). In 1983 David was hired as Senior Vice President – The RAM Group Ltd. Where he oversaw the reorganization, sale, and management of assets, leading to his position of President – RAM Asset Management Company (1988-1994) where he was instrumental in formation and marketing of contract management of oil and gas properties primarily owned by financial institutions, individuals, partnerships and oil and gas companies. David is presently an Independent Management Consultant and Business Analyst, and is Co-Founder and Director of a Native American Owned company providing consulting, strategic planning, project development and financing to the private sector and to the Native American community.
