Our Areas of Mineral Ownership and Acquisition
Our longstanding guidelines on areas of interest consist of several rules that match the characteristics of Oil and Gas Mineral interests and associated risks. We currently believe Oklahoma and Texas best exhibit these characteristics, and this is our focus area.
(1) Geographic areas where oil and gas development has existed and been respected for enough time to have established settled legal rights and responsibilities. Established body of energy law that respects the oil and gas industry and private mineral ownership.
(2) Geologic complexity seen as multiple formations, stacked horizons of hydrocarbons, and proven multiple productive zones. Areas of long term development where technology changes are likely to be introduced and applied.
(3) Infrastructure maturity where processing capacity and take away capacity are adequate, and have the ability to expand. (see point 1.) Provides access to market.
